Protecting Women’s Health and Opposing Question 6

Lowering the Tax Burden

Nevada families are feeling the pressure of rising costs. Harold believes government should be looking for creative ways to reduce the tax burden on Nevada citizens, not constantly looking for new ways to spend your money.

Nevada is rich in natural resources. Harold supports responsible exploration and development of Nevada’s land and resources, which can create jobs, strengthen our economy, and generate revenue without placing additional burdens on taxpayers.

Protecting Children

Children deserve to grow up without political agendas being forced on them. Harold believes in protecting kids from gender ideology being pushed in schools and public institutions.

His belief is simple: God created male and female, and policies affecting children should respect biological reality and parental authority.

School Choice

Parents know their children better than any government agency.

Harold strongly supports school choice, including the right of parents to decide which educational environment is best for their child. Whether public school, charter school, private school, or homeschooling, parents should have the freedom to choose the path that best prepares their children for success.

Ending Wasteful Spending

Government must treat taxpayer money with respect.

Harold believes Nevada must end wasteful spending and begin treating taxpayer dollars as if they were his own hard-earned money. Responsible budgeting and fiscal discipline are essential to protecting Nevada’s future.

Harold believes elected officials must be held accountable to the people they serve. He also believes leaders must hold themselves to the same standard.

His guiding principles come from his faith in God and his commitment to living by the Ten Commandments, striving to serve with honesty, integrity, and humility.

Harold supports voter ID, a bipartisan panel to decide wording of ballot questions and transparency in seeing who is financially supporting super pacs.

Law, Order and Justice

Safe communities are the foundation of a strong Nevada.

Harold will:
Increase funding to combat sex trafficking and child exploitation, including online child pornography Clearly define what constitutes an “essential service” during a state of emergency Ensure churches are recognized as essential, protecting religious freedom Ensure fair trials for all citizens Hold prosecutors accountable by sanctioning and prosecuting those who hide exculpatory evidence

Too many people are released from prison years later because a prosecutor pursued a conviction rather than the truth.

Harold believes justice must never be sacrificed for a win rate. He will fight to protect the innocent and ensure that no man or woman is sent to prison because of unethical conduct.

Public safety and constitutional rights must go hand in hand.

Lowering Car Insurance Premiums

Auto insurance costs in Nevada are out of control and hurting working families.

Harold will work to:

Insurance should protect drivers—not create financial hardship.

Harold will meet directly with insurance companies to identify what is driving the rising cost of premiums. If insurance companies are unfairly profiting at the expense of hardworking Nevadans, Harold will fight to bring those costs down and restore fairness to the system.
