About Harold Erbacher
A Story of Faith, Hard Work, and a Mother’s Love
“I learned at five years old that success comes from getting up before everyone else and working harder than anyone else.”
Harold Erbacher’s story begins not with privilege or political ambition, but with the unwavering love of a mother and the determination to overcome life’s hardships.
When Harold was just three months old, his parents divorced. His mother took him to Germany, where he spent the first five years of his life being raised by his grandmother while his mother worked tirelessly to build a small business selling Hummel figurines in the United States.
In 1981, when Harold was five years old, his mother made a bold decision. As a single German immigrant woman, she moved to Las Vegas and bought a home on her own. It was the beginning of a new life built on determination and hard work.

Learning Hard Work at an Early Age
Even as a small child, Harold worked alongside his mother selling merchandise at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Broadacres Swapmeet.
Those mornings began at 3:30 a.m.
They loaded their small Datsun with merchandise and stood in line waiting for a vendor space. Harold helped set up tables, watched merchandise, and directed customers to his mother.
Those experiences instilled a lifelong work ethic.

Standing Up for His Mother
When Harold was seven, his mother remarried an attorney whose struggles with alcohol and drugs created difficulties in the household.
Even as a child, Harold believed strongly that his mother deserved respect. When his stepfather expected Harold’s mother to pay restaurant bills, Harold openly spoke up about it.
For Harold, protecting his mother was not optional—it was instinct.

Responsibility at Fifteen
When Harold was 15 years old, his stepfather abruptly left the family after signing away his law practice.
Shortly afterward, the IRS threatened to seize the family home because Harold’s stepfather had forged his mother’s signature on tax documents.
At fifteen years old, Harold began buying and selling cars to help pay the mortgage.
“At fifteen years old I wasn’t thinking about teenage problems. I was thinking about how to save my mother’s house.”
He bought and sold his first car before he could legally drive it.

Building a Life Through Real Estate
At 18 years old Harold had an idea.
“What if we did with houses what we’re doing with cars?”
Together he and his mother began buying distressed homes in Pahrump, repairing them, and renting them out.
Harold handled most repairs himself through trial and error.
Those years shaped his reputation as a problem solver who never quits.

Losing Everything — And Starting Over
By 2007 Harold was preparing to sell many of the properties he had built with his mother.
Then the financial crisis destroyed the housing market.
Everything they had worked for disappeared.
But Harold started again.
In 2009 he began buying distressed homes in Las Vegas, rebuilding what had been lost.

A Life-Changing Encounter
In 2020 Harold attended a protest against government overreach during COVID.
There he met a man named Ray Cordova, whose RV was covered in Christian banners.
At the time Harold was an atheist and skeptical of religion, but he was struck by the sincerity of the Christians he met.
He even volunteered for an event called “Free Fajitas for Jesus.”
Still, he did not yet believe.

The Moment Everything Changed
In late 2022 Harold faced the most difficult moment of his life.
A personal crisis pushed him to the brink of ending his life.
While having dinner with his mother, she told him there was a presence here with them that wants to tell him something:
“Mach Weiter.” — “Keep going.”
Three days later Harold saw something extraordinary.
At a tire shop he spotted the same RV from two and a half years earlier.
Ray Cordova.
At that moment Harold faced a choice.
Coincidence… or God.
He chose God.
“God met me at the lowest moment of my life and changed everything.”

A New Life of Faith
Soon afterward Harold attended church for the first time in over 30 years.
Within weeks he became a co-host of a Christian radio program on KKVV 1060 AM and began sharing his testimony. He even associate produced a project to animate the Bible to help further spread the good word.
He describes the transformation simply:
“I felt more alive in one day as a Christian than in my entire life as an atheist.”

Serving the Community
In 2025 Harold dedicated land he owned to host weekly three-day tent revivals where hundreds gathered to hear messages of faith and hope.
The revivals ran for nine months.

Devotion to His Mother
Today Harold’s story has come full circle.
The same mother who sacrificed everything to raise him now needs additional care.
Instead of placing her in a facility, Harold cares for her himself.
Their bond is one built on love, loyalty, faith, and gratitude.

Standing Publicly for Faith
On one occasion Harold brought his mother to a Trump rally holding a sign that read:
“Jesus Wants Us 2 Vote.”
The sign caught the attention of Donald Trump who pointed Harold out and joked:
“That man is crazy, but I like him.”
For Harold, the moment was not about attention—it was about standing publicly for the faith that changed his life.
